Jedan momak iz Novog Sada ima takav dres (Shearer 9). Nije ga uopšte nosio i zna da ja volim Newcastle i pre jedno desetak godina mi je obećao da će mi pokloniti dres. Međutim, ja tog momka nisam video sigurno sedam-osam godina i sretnem ga pre dva vikenda u Limanskom Parku. Kaže on meni, Shearer-ov dres te još uvek čeka!!!

Nazvaću ga, da mi ga pokloni.     

To se zove neraskidiva ljubav!

Nisam se setio ovog lika.Bio mi je uvek simpatican na terenu.

I dalje je sajla. Ova dvojica da zaigraju tresli bi lagano. Bez zajebavanja. Kakav se sosonski fudbal igra za njih ce biti mesta i sa 50 godina.

sjecam se van Hooijdonk-ovih par slobodnjaka, dobar je bio nema šta

Shearer nikad nije bio ljepotan ali nisam vidio odavno da neko brze stari od njega. Izgleda kao otac ovome.

Pazi ovo, oboje su vladali igrom u vazduhu, a vidi razliku u visini...

Na današnji dan, 30. jula 1996. godine, za Newcastle United je potpisao Alan Shearer. Transfer je bio vredan 15 miliona funti, što je tada bio najviši transfer u istoriji fudbala.





Newcastle may not have won the league title since 1927, or any trophy of significance since 1969, but supporters of the famous north-east club will still turn out in huge numbers to welcome a big signing. In the summer of 1996, fans were still smarting after Kevin Keegan's team lost a big lead in the title race and let in Manchester United to win the Premier League, but they were somewhat placated by the £15million signing of Alan Shearer from Blackburn. The British transfer record had been smashed (the previous highest deal was the £8.5m Liverpool paid Nottingham Forest for Stan Collymore). Shearer was at the peak of his powers, having just performed brilliantly up front for England at that summer's Euro 96 tournament.
