Pola škole je počelo da prati rezultate NUFC-a zbog mene i onda me u ponedeljak peckaju zbog rezultata.

Pitam ja njih, da li znaju u kom mesecu počinje Premier League a oni svi u glas: U AVGUSTU!!!

Ja im kažem: Vidimo se u avgustu (tad su popravni ispiti).

Steve Bruce denies Hatem Ben Arfa bust-up


Steve Bruce has said that contrary to reports, the plastic Geordie has not had a bust-up with Hatem Ben Arfa.

It was claimed that when Bruce substituted the Newcastle loan player after only 35 minutes of the match at Old Trafford last weekend, the two had a big bust-up and the Hull manager was going to send Hatem back to Tyneside.

steve bruceHowever, Steve Bruce has now came out and said that everything is fine, failing totally to answer the obvious, why has a player gone from being first choice to then being ignored for the whole squad of eighteen for the midweek draw at Everton and the home draw with West Brom on Saturday.

After the West Brom goalless draw Bruce had this to say;

“Nothing happened at Old Trafford in the dressing room, I wasn’t happy with his performance, end of story.

“There was no bust-up and he is still here, he is still part of the squad and he trained yesterday.”

HBA has to work and train hard;

“He has got to win his spurs back by working hard and training hard and try to get back into the team.”

“We are Hull and no matter who you play football for in the Premier League, there has got to be a workrate and an attitude to make sure you do something for the team.”

He didn’t earn it;

“He didn’t earn it at Old Trafford, or to be among the substitutes today or on Wednesday.

“His attitude has been okay andI haven’t got any problem with his personality, or the way he is or his attitude, he has to simply roll his sleeves up and work for the cause.”

No disputing ability;

“There is no disputing that he has got ability but ability isn’t enough at this level, so he will be training like everyone else will be training.”

If we have an injury crisis…;

“We have now got four or five weeks until January and we could lose three or four players next week and then there is a chance that he might be back in.

“We will see what December and January brings and have a sit down and see where we all are.”

I don’t think it takes a genius to see what the truth is behind Steve Bruce’s words.

Bruce and Ben Arfa are stuck with each other until at least January and I’m guessing, plus rumours/reports at the time backed it up, there is no option to send him back to Newcastle even in January.

The Hull manager is basically saying that unless half the squad is struck down by illness/injury then Hatem Ben Arfa is getting nowhere near the team.

With Hull in the bottom three at least part of this story has to be Steve Bruce finding a convenient scapegoat to cover up his own failings.

As for Hatem Ben Arfa – you can only wonder where he will end up when is no longer on Hull/Newcastle’s books.

French winger Hatem Ben Arfa has returned to his home country and will not appear again for English Premier League side Hull City, sports daily L'Equipe reported today.
L'Equipe said that the 27-year-old, who hails from the Paris suburbs, has been back in the French capital for the last three days working with a fitness trainer while he searches for a new club.
A return to Newcastle is very unlikely.
